How to decide who should see what business information
Sensitive information can be shared by role without being shared with everyone.
Group information by sensitivity
- Open: production plans, dispatch lists
- Team: stock, purchase orders
- Restricted: supplier rates, customer prices, credit terms
- Owner only: payroll, partner information, management accounts
Give access by role, not by person
When someone changes role, their access should change with it.
