An industrial development grant for new manufacturing MSMEs in Madhya Pradesh

The MSME department issued this scheme by an order of 20 June 2025, under the Madhya Pradesh MSME Development Policy 2025. It applies from 24 February 2025 for as long as the policy runs. We read the scheme document on the department's site, which is in Hindi, and the figures below come from it.

Manufacturing micro, small and medium units in Madhya Pradesh that start commercial production on or after 24 February 2025

• For units investing up to ₹10 crore in plant and machinery: a grant of 40 per cent of the eligible investment, paid in 4 equal yearly instalments
• An extra 2 per cent a year for four years for women, SC and ST entrepreneurs (2.5 per cent for SC and ST women)
• An extra 2 per cent a year for four years for units that export more than 25 per cent and up to 50 per cent of annual sales, and 3 per cent for more than 50 per cent
• Above ₹10 crore: assistance paid over 7 yearly instalments by a formula in the scheme, which we have not listed

• A manufacturing MSME, new or expanding, with commercial production starting on or after 24 February 2025
• The unit must not be in an activity on the scheme's excluded list
• A claim for each later instalment, filed within 180 days of the claim date

Apply to the General Manager of the District Trade and Industry Centre. A district committee decides the application, within 30 days according to the scheme.
