The official registration of a micro, small or medium enterprise with the Ministry of MSME. It is done online, is free and paperless, and gives you a registration number and a certificate.

Any manufacturing or service business within the micro, small or medium limits

• A permanent registration number and certificate
• The registration many central and state MSME schemes ask for, including ZED certification
• The basis for the delayed payment protection under the MSMED Act

• Aadhaar of the proprietor or authorised signatory
• PAN, and GST where it applies
