Trade fair, loan guarantee and award support for MSMEs in Punjab

Punjab MSME support under the 2026 policy

01 · What it is

Alongside the main incentives, the Punjab Industrial and Business Development Policy 2026 and its operational guidelines list help meant for MSMEs. We read both documents. For the guarantee fee and the NSE Emerge help the documents describe how to claim but we did not read an amount, so none is listed.

02 · Who should check it

Micro, small and medium units in Punjab

03 · What it can support
  • Trade fair stall rent: 50 per cent for MSMEs, up to ₹5 lakh abroad and ₹3 lakh at national fairs (75 per cent, up to ₹7.5 lakh and ₹5 lakh, for One District One Product units)
  • Reimbursement of the CGTMSE guarantee fee for micro and small enterprises
  • Help for MSMEs to list on the NSE Emerge platform and to adopt technology
  • A yearly State Award for MSMEs with SC entrepreneurs, women entrepreneurs, export units and One District One Product units: ₹2 lakh a unit in each category, ₹3 lakh for One District One Product manufacturers
04 · What may be required
  • Udyam registration
  • Registration on the Department's online portal
  • A claim for the guarantee fee or the NSE Emerge help within six months of the end of the financial year

06 · Application route

Online through the Department of Industries and Commerce's portal, in the prescribed claim form for each help. The policy also says the state plans an agency called MSME Punjab and district single windows for MSMEs, which are plans and not yet schemes we have checked.
